Sex Drive - ADAM
Low sex drive/possible low testosterone:
A fall in testosterone levels can cause sexual problems: erectile dysfunction; loss of night time erections; and lack of desire. A man's testosterone falls from age 20 onwards, and at 75 it can be half the level of a 20-year-old. This is especially true if weight is gained or other illnesses develop. However, testosterone tends to stay normal in men whose weight is stable and who stay fit and healthy.
This basic ADAM (Androgen Deficiency in the Ageing Male) questionnaire can be very useful for men to describe the kind and severity of low testosterone symptoms.
